Natalia Eernstman is an independent researcher, educator and artist; a creative engager of people and endlessly interested in their stories. Mildly obsessed with (environmental) change and how that impacts human lives, she believes that the world needs saving but that we can do so in ludic ways. She has made work in villages, factories, quarries, woods, schools, a post office and castle. She set up and performed in a community theatre company in The Netherlands and currently works with various sites-specific theatre companies in Cornwall, UK. She is about to finish a PhD around the role of arts in generating community dialogues around issues of sustainable development. And teaches at universities, adult learning centres and in communities, using artful, performative and experiential means.
